Managing Director

Our Client is a leading privately-owned foreign exchange payments business, regulated by the FCA as an Authorised Electronic Money Institution, operating in the UK, wider EU, and Dubai UAE.

As a result of ongoing investment in pervasive payments automation technology, the company is strongly placed to penetrate new FinTech markets, with future strategies expected to sustain high growth.

As part of its natural growth, the company is expanding operations in Warsaw, and requires an experienced Compliance Manager to guide through the next stage of the company’s international development.


  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with third party banking providers to secure seamless provision of payments services.
  • Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve processes.
  • Keep up to date with local legislation and regulation to ensure business compliance.
  • Acts as a liaison between company and client for quality assurance.
  • Motivates staff to meet or surpass organisational goals.
  • Responsible for recruitment of skilled talent.
  • Oversees daily operations in the legal and compliance departments.
  • Liaise with third party advisers regarding financial accounting and local filings.
  • Point of contact for the KNF, providing regulatory updates and submitting required filings.
  • Presents new ideas and cash flow strategies to Board of Directors and other company officers.
  • Provides a system for employee salaries and benefits, and makes sure employees feel valued.
  • Promotes communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise.
  • Performs other decisions as necessary, such as reviewing reports, making presentations to the UK board of directors, and examining how the company can cut expenses and increase revenue.
  • Provides mentoring to all employees.


The Managing Director should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Ability to achieve growth within a business and increasing company value.
  • Aptitude to identify and correct operational inefficiencies.
  • Liaise with credit providers to open new currency corridors.
  • Generate sales leads and closing transactions.
  • Clear understanding of marketing strategy and ability to attract additional consumer base


The Managing Director shall be required to have:

  • a minimum of five years experience in financial services.
  • An undergraduate degree (min 2:1).
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Management experience in the FX and payments sector.
  • Fluent Polish and English.
